Our foundation is experience. With more than a decade in the swimming pool industry, our owner has been involved in the construction and management of more than 1,000 swimming pools and renovations throughout the Gulf Coast. That includes everything from custom residential pools to large community pool projects, giving us a hands-on understanding of every stage of construction.

Darryl Wilson Jr.
Owner & Founder, CBG Pools & Spas
For Darryl Wilson Jr., building swimming pools is more than a profession. It’s a craft he has spent more than a decade learning, refining, and perfecting.
Before founding CBG Pools & Spas, Darryl spent 10 years working for the Gulf Coast’s largest pool builder, progressing through roles in construction supervision, project management, and regional operations. During that time, he was involved in the construction and renovation of more than 1,000 swimming pools, gaining extensive hands-on experience in every phase of the process, from excavation and structural construction to equipment, finishes, scheduling, and final completion.
That experience gave Darryl a firsthand understanding of what makes a pool project successful, and just as importantly, what homeowners deserve from their pool builder: clear communication, attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and someone who takes personal responsibility for the project.
Darryl founded CBG Pools & Spas to bring that approach directly to homeowners throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. As an owner-operated company, CBG provides a more personal experience where clients know who is overseeing their project and have a direct line of communication throughout the entire build.
For Darryl, the goal isn’t simply to build another swimming pool. It’s to create a backyard where families can relax, entertain, make memories, and enjoy their home for years to come.

Most custom concrete pools take roughly 8 to 12 weeks from permit approval, depending on design, weather, and inspections. We'll give you a realistic schedule in your proposal.
What does a custom pool cost?

Do you handle permits?
Yes. We handle the permitting process with your city or county and coordinate the required inspections.
What is the best time of year to build?
